T-Shirt

Switch explores the role interfaces, porn, and cruising apps (Grindr, Sniffies) play in creating sexual identity as consistent, predictable, and fixed. Versatility is foregone for flat and easy consumption — the logic of the market takes over and ambiguity is understood as hypocrisy or worse: a waste of time and a bad product pitch. The shirt, by its design prevents viewers of its wearer to witness two identities at the same time, they only can see “top” on the front and “bottom” in the back.

This piece was distributed at the Printed Matter New York Art Book Fair held at Moma PS1 in 2025.
